FEDERATION CJA presents annual awards to honour outstanding individuals and innovative programs that contribute to the strength and vitality of the Montreal Jewish community. These awards are: the Distinguished Leadership Award, the Minnie Cummings Abbey Award, the Mildred B. Lande Award, the Gertrude & Henry Plotnick Young Leadership Award, the Brenda & Samuel Gewurz Award for Excellence in Jewish Education, the Jon Roskies Award for New Leadership, Ruth & Michael Rosenthal Family Student Leadership Award, the YAD (Young Adult Division) Leadership Award, the Award for Community Service, two Awards for Professional Excellence and the Outstanding Administrative Staff Award.

Selection of winners of the following awards is determined by the Awards Committee which includes community leaders and past award winners.

Award winners will be announced and honoured at the FEDERATION CJA Annual General Meeting on September 25, 2008.
